[Mirabelle is trying so hard to keep it together. She feels awful, and she's hungry, and she's hyper-aware of the fact that a bat attacked her a few days ago. Because now she's exhibiting all of the telltale signs of turning into a vampire. Which she is well-read on because that subsection of horror genre has such potential for terrifying things happening to beautiful men.]
